In a statement released on Sunday, Denmark committed to allocating 405 million Danish kroner (54 million euros) in support of Ukraine in the area of humanitarian aid and recovery.
As stated by the Danish Foreign Minister, this amount will help the Ukrainian people in the fight against the consequences of the conflict in the wake of the country's crisis. Denmark is also aimed at applying efforts to promote the process of peace and support national unity in Ukraine.
"We must continue to express our solidarity with Ukraine. This assistance will serve as a supplementary clear signal that the Danish community supports Ukraine's right to independence and sovereignty," the minister noted.
