The representative of Denmark, Victoria Kjaer, was elected as the winner of Miss Universe 2024 in a competition where the Mexican Fernanda Beltrán placed third.
In addition to the prestigious title and the crown that recognizes her as the most beautiful woman in the world, the Miss Universe winner receives a cash prize of 250 thousand dollars (equivalent to 5 million Mexican pesos). This money is intended for her travels and to cover expenses associated with her promotional commitments.
The winner also receives a monthly salary of 50 thousand dollars (950 thousand pesos) to continue promoting her reign. As part of her prizes, she is granted a luxurious apartment in New York with all expenses paid, where she will reside until the end of her reign.
Additionally, image consultants are provided at no cost to assist her in preparing for her official commitments. Despite being a valuable crown with an estimated cost of 5 million pesos, at the end of her reign, the winner must return it, so it is not considered a permanent gift.
The election of Victoria Kjaer as the new Miss Universe took place on Saturday, November 16, where representatives from Nigeria, Thailand, and Venezuela also participated. Previously, the finalists underwent a question round before a jury made up of prominent personalities such as Gianluca Vacchi, Emilio Estefan, and Lele Pons.
