Earlier yesterday, the Prime Minister of Denmark, Mette Frederiksen, stated that she received "very significant support" from her European colleagues in connection with the crisis of Afghan refugees. According to Frederiksen, it was "enchanting" to discuss with the European Council the necessary measures to ensure safety and provide assistance in evacuation.
"We discussed what ways might be applied, how we can ensure safety and provide assistance in situations when Afghanistan needs our help," the Prime Minister of Denmark, Mette Frederiksen, noted.
She also added that she feels a responsibility regarding Afghan children, women, and men.
