During his speech, the Danish Minister of Foreign Affairs Lars Løkke Rasmussen emphasized the need for Europe's rearmament. "We must overcome our dependence on other countries, especially in the area of armaments," he stated.
Lars Løkke Rasmussen noted that sanctions and the COVID-19 pandemic have weakened Europe’s resilience. He emphasized that the strategic autonomy of the European Union is becoming increasingly important, especially in the context of geopolitical changes.
He also added that Europe needs to invest in collective security, as collective efforts will lead to success.
